Three in a Row for Wiltshire Under 13s

Congratulations to the Wiltshire U13 team who won the 5 Counties event at Wycliffe College at the weekend for the third consecutive year. The annual event hosted by Gloucestershire Squash has been the year ending fixture for over 30 years and the Wiltshire team once again ensured that it was another successful end to the year by retaining the title, finishing 21 points ahead of 2nd place Warwickshire. Big Wilts turnout at South Bronze

Wiltshire juniors headed to Winchester at the weekend for the South Region Bronze. With a strong field of 90 players assembled from across the entire South of England it was going to be a good test for the 23 Wiltshire juniors. Zara Vince was the highest placed Wiltshire junior on Saturday with third place in the Girls U11 draw. Edward Taylor finished 5th in the BU11. St John’s too strong for Devizes

Year 8 pupils from St John’s Marlborough beat Devizes in the first leg of a school double header this week. St John’s travelled to Devizes with a strong team and with Charlie Hallsworth leading the way at No.1 string they never looked in danger of losing any of the matches, comfortably winning the tie 5-0. The return fixture is scheduled for the New Year. Well done to all players who participated.
